check codes first. the most common cause of an airbag light is dodgy seatbelt pretensioners, but that's not to say it's your problem specifically

Have you recently pulled the dash out or fiddled with that area, cause If you have the light can go off as it has no signal and logs a fault

Hmm I've pulled the center console and the area around the head unit to put in a new one, but thats it. I was talking to my mates dad who is a panel beater and yeah he said it might have something to do with the seat belt, thanks for the tips guys.

It won't be the seatbelt - usually caused by removing the dash and turning the ignition on when the dash is still partly dis-assembled. This sets an airbag fault which can only be removed by either an auto elec or Holdens with the correct tool. As long as the light is on your airbag will be inoperative unfortunately. (and legally unroadworthy)
I got mine reset for $10 by an auto-elec.

Mine turned on because I turned the ignition on with the dash apart. $51 for holden to reset and lesson learnt
