    Default Exhaust noisy

Hi all, my exhaust is the original standard one on it since i bought the car when almost brand new, but lately the exhaust is sounding louder, i don't know much about exhausts but i have had good look underneath her and the pipes look ok with no leaks and as far as i could see the muflers have no holes in them either, the louder noise is only coming out of the end of the exhaust pipe, so i am guessing that one or more of the muflers are rat ****, but which one i am not sure of as i don't know how to test them, is there are way of testing them ?

I intend to go to an exhaust shop tommorow and get their evaluation & price but like to have a little knowledge beforehand in case i cop someone looking for extra work that possibly it doesn't really need.

    Appreciate for any suggestions

Its probably the mufflers have had it... I recently replaced my stock exhaust and if u shook the mufflers it would sound like a rice shaker, the parts inside were farked As for the exhaust place, if they say that only one of the mufflers has had it e.g. the first one...make sure they dont charge you for the other muffler and piping after the diff as well...

hopefully that helps a little bit

get under the car and make a fist and tap it if it makes a dull thudding sound its most likely not the muffler if it sounds hollow it is the muffler my vp did the same before i pulled the exhaust of all together turned out the baffles in the muffler had let go
