Hi all, im new to the forums, my name is Jason, i just recently purchased a VR SII Commodore S pack (well thats what i was told) and im wanting to check up on the differences between the two, i was hoping someone could tell me what differentiates a Executive VR to an S pack VR. Commodores really arent my forte as im more of a nissan man so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers JD
Its the ss v8 equivalent, meaning its pretty much an ss, just with a v6. No performance mods were made but i believe you may have cruise control, pwr windows, climate control, speed alert, etc that the plain exec doesnt have? External body mods will be the red pin stripping around the car and a subtle bodykit
If im wrong correct me please
Also IRS and ABS I believe. And FE2 suspension

definately fe2 ( holdens version of lowered suspension SVD115 ) and yeah im sure the abs was stock even in the exec's but IRS was an option for that model???
yeah it doesnt really meen much
i thought it just had a bit of an extesion on the body kit
but ABS and IRS arent standard on s packs
my mate has vs s spack and everything is exactly the same as my standard VR
Yeh i know about the FE2 suspension, my mums car (the first one i remember) was a VN Calais with the FE2 suspension VN Grp A front Brakes and full SV3800 interior and running gear. that was an awesome car. unfortunately suffered an engine fire
After looking at the car some more with a friend, ive been told ive got an SS front and rear barand i finally got the books for it from the guy i bought it off (commwreck) and it was sold as an S pack but at some point in its life it has had a replacement dash put in so it wasnt cracked thats why there is an executive badge on the dash
so my plans for it are simple i guess.
VE Front seats, VT brake upgrade with slotted and cross drilled rotors (because my old man makes the kits for em) and some new lower springs, then cruise
Cheers for all the help, Jason.
