**vs clubby manuel gearbox issue**

hey guys ive noticed it gets tight getting into 1st gear stopt wat could this be my gearbox is on its way ?? or another issue cheers guys when i select gears n off n on the clutch the select smooth once i start driving again
it tights back up in 1st?

You may have to be a little more specific.

Are you talking about upshifting or downshifting into 1st? I didn't understand anything else to be honest

ok say ur stopt at the lights and u put foot clutch the engage it in 1st gear dats wat i mean its tight then when u push hard enuff locks in gear

sounds like nothing man, just get the manual serviced. and see if it is still there

i got the manuel serviced when i 1st bought the car and ive nearly had it for 1 yr

my vs does this every now and then. try with the clutch pushed in putting it into second then first.you see putting it into second open's the gate so you can put it into first so i have been told by a mechanic.

when do u usually do a maneul transmission service the 1st 1 i did was in 2006 i heard it last up 50,000kms before due to next trans service if this is true then its got nothing to do with my service

i was think could it be the rubber surronding round the gear stick underneath the console ??
