Default VR berlina blowing black smoke.

When I start my VR berlina, black smoke comes out of the exhaust... like a fair bit of it, but only last for maybe... 10 seconds or so, but i still dont like it doing that.

what could this possibly be causing this?
i was thinking it could be the o2 censors? but could be mistaken.

    thanks.
    Dan.

Do a test for engine fault codes (how to section has a guide) then see where your at.

Your injectors could be leaking overnight - this floods the combustion chambers with fuel and when the engine starts it burns off the excess fuel resulting in black smoke. Cheapest fix is a tin or two of injector cleaner.

It happens everytime I start the car, not just in the mornings.

Could still be the injectors leaking - try injector cleaner as a first cheap fix (alternatives will be more costly!)
