VR Engine number

I just got a VR acclam & need to find the engine numbers to do a revs cheack.
Can anyone help ??
Ive done plenty of spaner spinning at my pops work shop for 20yrs so any discription should be easy to follow

Should be just around the waterpump outlet under the coils

Tell me your engine number and I'll tell you when it was made.

VR engine numbers should be between VH 1326000 and VH1471800. That's approx the time line for the VR's

It's written with white out near the TB.. But I am pretty sure I have seen it elsewhere on the engine... *confused*

It's a good engine, I got it second hand and I have a sneaking suspicion it's had some work done to it...

But your Engine is an early VR unit. Probably out a one of the first 1,000 VR's made.
