hello all,
I have a commodore VR exec series II. I'm in the process of changing my springs to king spring lows. I was just wondering quickly if i need to remove the whole strut in order to replace the front springs, or can i just compress the original coils with the strut being in place and just simply switch them over?
thanks,
My car audio:
CD tuner: Alpine CDA-9884E with Ipod interface
Front speakers: Alpine Type R SPR-17S 6.5 component speakers, powered by a avant-garde 23dxi 2 channel amplifier - 2x51 watt RMS
Rear speakers: pioneer coaxials connected to tuner
Subwoofer: Alpine Type R SWR-1222D 12" 2 ohm dual voice coil 500 watts RMS powered by a response precision 2x150 watts RMS 2 channel amp bridged to 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
Have you pulled the wheel off and had a look yet?
A few threads have covered this how to already, have a search around and suss it out.
Simply, there is no way you can change springs over without undoing the strut top.
Unless your name is roon_VR aka criss angel lol
haha thanks for that, that's all i needed to know![]()
