VR diff ABS - VS ABS

Ok I have read everything I could find on here about diffs, I read "diffs all you need to know" and I learned about the ratios and the models that have the same dimensions, etc, etc.

What I couldnt find is, are the ABS sensors in a VR diff the same as in the VS (Live Axle)

My mate is offering me a VR ABS Live Axle LSD for $350, just want to make sure it will work with the ABS, as I have read and know it will bolt up, it will fit and the wheels will turn, however I like ABS

I prefer to do an end to end swap basically as my Diff is rooted, started clunking (wierd though that bumps in the road seem to trigger the clunk?) I got under the car and the bloody front seal is spitting oil out and the bolts from the tailshaft to diff had come loose

I'm only guessing but I'd imagine they are the same despite the VS having a later series ABS control unit. I know the front ABS hubs/sensors are the same VR/VS so I'd imagine its the same for the rear.

If that damn orange light comes on, i'll just rip it out and sell it again I guess, or rebuild and whack it in my other mates VR 5spd

ABS and diff wise both VR and VS are the same, although some later VS 2's had a dounut coupling between the diff and tailshaft instead of a uni.
