I have a supercharged 6 statesman. when i was driving it tonight it was miss firing a lot. What could be the cause of this, i have recently just got new spark plugs and leads. Could it be the coils?
Thanks
If you are wanting to test your coils mate then turn the engine off and remove the 2 leads off the first coil pack, now with the leads still off, start the car and have a look at the coils, there should be a spark jumping from metal tip to tip, if the spark jumps anywhere else then you have a faulty coil! if the spark jumps correctly then turn engine off replace leads and move onto coil number 2 and repeat proceedure and if all is good with coil 2 then coil 3 ect![]()
