when do u usually do a maneul transmission service the 1st 1 i did was in 2006 i heard it last up 50,000kms before due to next trans service if this is true then its got nothing to do with my service
i was think could it be the rubber surronding round the gear stick underneath the console ??
Manual trannys in my history usually need to be serviced every 25,000km or so under normal conditions if you drive it like you stole it I would half that interval
your saying about a rubber surround yet you have no stated what your problem is to begin with, if you are having vibrations is it speed or RPM related, funny noises, rough gear changes ... you have to be specific you cant ask for help when you give no symptoms to begin with .. kind of like standing outside a Doctors office yelling whats wrong with me!!!
The factory only recommends a check on lubricant level every 40,000km. Apart from that there is nothing to service on a manual. Same with the non-lsd differential.
tight gear changes
seems to loosen up the gets tight after driving it abit still locks in gear selections just tight in selecting threw em expercially 1st gear stop still
Actually it sounds like you may have a clutch problem - when you select reverse do the gears clash?
when i select reverse gears are fine?
it makes a clunck sound when i engage to 1st gear stop still could this be meaning a worn clutch due to upgrade i hope not![]()
