is 2500 grand enough to get a basic supercharger kit for my vs 6 auto?????? if so does any one no any where that i can ring for qoutes in melbourne cheers fellas

might be able to purchase a l67 for that much, but not including labour to install it and other parts needed.

Best option would be to buy an L67 motor and swap it, OR buy stocky's SC14 setup...

ide try grab a sc14 by the looks of em they go alrite for what they are and dont look to hard to install etc, check ebay also, always a heap of em on there and if your lucky youl be able to find one with a vs bracket already.

chased up a CRS brand one for 500 sound any good????????

Pretty good price, just check it turns nice and freely, no hard spots. Also check the shaft the pulley attatches to for up and down movement indicating internal bearings are shot! Then you'll be up for a rebuild, and those bearings aren't available as a spare parts item. You'll have to strip it, and press old bearins out, then machine the bearing housing out to suit local bearings. Is it a complete kit with all brackets and pipes?

3 psi kit? to suit VN-VR, or a vs engine? if youre budget is 2500, id say find a l67. theyre quiet, legal, easy to setup and epa friendly. id look for a smashed car, take the engine and sell the rest of the parts

yep thats what i did. then later you can add more boost, cooler, cam etc
