hey my car has just came back from pedders and thought it was a front end problem, my vs with 17" wheels there is a fair bit of viabration in steering wheel and if road surface is like higher one side the car like to pullling in to it but as where i just put back stockies on fron and every thing seems fine again, could it be unbalenced wheels maybe????
I think it's the 17" wheels themselves...Being 17" on your car, pretty sure some members have had the same problem with that solution....But I could be wrong..
sweet hopefully yeah people with same symptoms can help thanks mate
How wide are they?? 235?
Mine does it too.
It quite normal for it to happen on 17"s.
with wider wheels they will tend to follow the road a little. did they set the wheel alignment toe in? or toe out? vibration can be caused be a bad ballance or a buckled rim.

hey guys yeah they are 235, i dont know if they set it to toe or or toe out what should it be, like today i drove to work with my stockies on front and its good to drive, it like really likes to follow the road with the 17" feels weird to drive but dont think it had the problem when i got em, going to get front tyers checked for a ballence on monday i think
Yeah, exact same problem here,my whole front end has been rebuilt,i told the guy that did all my suspension work about how the car moves a bit when i go over certain high spots on the road,i think he called it "tyre trace",im planning on sticking with the chasers, its becoming a bit annoying with the 17s on it,my tyres are also 235/45/17.
