    Default vs engine fan

hi all, have noticed that fan doesn,t come on with ignition. it starts when i let it idle for 5 minutes but by then the gauge is half way.shouldn,t be too worrying but i think it should come on earlier. any clues? thanks.

no worries, the older style fans were run on the belt so they were running all the time, but your vs is controlled by the computer to come on when the engine reaches a certain temperature, sort of emulates driving, causes air to pass through the radiator to bring the temperature back down, then computer turns it off
