i have a early vr calais v8. last week out of nowhere i lost cental lockin, alarm, power windows, dash lights, variable power steer n variable wipers. car still runs fine, air co still works, radio still works but elec arial wont go up. could this be bcm prob. just replaced altenator n coil n everythin was fine till last week. this is drivin me nuts so any help[ would be hugely appriciated....thanx
check all your fuses. if they're blown then im guessin maybe a bad earthing, hence the current running straight back through everything, or somethings shorted out and its finally taken its toll. you may have a far%ed relay somewhere too

all fuses are ok. relays r ok to i think. i read sumwhere that i can take out fuse for bcm n reset it. nothin in the fuse cover says for bcm though. would it b anywhere else. not in the fuse box under bonnet either that i can c.
This is probably no help but I had a look at the wiring diagram for your car and the common theme with all the items you quote is indeed the BCM which you suspect. If it can be reset then its probaly done by disconnecting the battery for 30 secs or so. Good Luck.
thanx for your help guys. just got car back from commodore wreckers. it was bcm. they said it was a wierd model, being first gen vr, it had sum vp computer bits, so had to get vp calais bcm. just a note for anyone that has sim prob with early vr's.
