need help urgent
had a mate come up and check out my vs and he said gearbox is okay but the plug to gearbox one of the wires is shot it revs out in first and second gear but no cluttering and it runs smooth and changes good once you are going anyone know what colur the wires are for first and sencond gear off the plug or is it another issue gears feel good and it may be vaccuum leak somewhere but hoses are allconnected please help asap
what model gearbox? 5/6/7hdd ?

are you sure its not a manual box? its a common problem of them reving out when you change gears lol jks.
how does the car idle? it it sitting on or below 1rev?
just curious cous mine decided to have the same symptoms the other day only it was my accelerator cable sticking
also check the oil level. low or burnt oil can make it rev high.

okay think it has done the first band
okay inside actual box, was told maybe could be the band from 1st and second gear
