$$$ - Price Estimate?

Hey guys. I've got a 1994 VR Executive stationwagon, which has been sitting here for about 5 months and has not been driven. Its dark green in colour.

Car needs:

- new transmission
- couple of new tyres, one is flat
- charged battery, its flat
- replaced windscreen

It's in pretty good nick, body is really good as you can see from photo's.

If someone has a spare auto around they would have a bargain i reckon, i just don't have the time and resources to do it.


What's it worth folks? Any offers?

you cant tell for sure what price, post a pic or 2 with a list of faults you know of and we could give you a more accurate guess, my guess was on the 'average vr v6'

as far as i know engine is fine. i'm going to take it to my mechanic and get him to tell me exactly how it is. it drove well but has not been started in about 5 months. as i said needs new transmission.

faults i know of:

- transmission
- chip in windscreen
- needs new tyres

i'm in woodend, victoria, 1 hour from melb.

i payed 500 bucks for my 95 vr equipe with new tyers and rego till feb 09. motor has a rattle in it tho, ballance shaft berings or tensoner.....

chuck it out for a grand ono best thing id do if i were u, sure u need a trans but u can get em from wreckers and any handy person wid mech knowledge cud make a grand selling it off later on

i don't think i can be bothered putting a trans in, i just want to sell it AS IS and get it out of the way lol. i'd take 400 -500 for the thing if someone chucked it on a trailer and took it away for me lol.

mate interior isnt too bad, it's got a droopin roof lining which happens to most vr wagons, can be fixed pretty easily though.

mate these are the known faults of the car:
* 1 or 2 flat tyres
* needs new trans
* flat battery (could probably be charged up though not sure)
* chip in windscreen (could probably get it passed somewhere dodgy lol)
* drooping roof lining fabric

the head unit / amp etc was all taken out so they're no stereo in there.

exterior and paint are in top condition, only thing i can see wrong with it is dint in the front and flat tyre which can be seen in this photo:



it'd have to be sold as is because i don't know if there's anything else wrong with it, but it's just been sitting here and needs to go. So if someone wanted it for parts or to rebuild it'd be a bargain either way.

a tad over 300 , but runs beautifully.
