Hey everyone this is my first thread so dont abuse me if i stuff up but im having drama's with my front end suspension. ive have 18's on my ride but when i hit a reasonable bump or dips in the road my tyres smash up into the guards pretty hard, the guards have been rolled and it never used to be this bad just a minor tyre scrub here or there but it has worsen to this. Is it possible to have a smooth ride on 18's. Im open to any suggestions as long as its a reasonable price suggestion. Thanks guys hope u can help us out
is the car lowered? have you changed your shocks aswell? ive got 18's on mine and its fine.
didnt cut the springs did you?
are you sure its hitting on the outside not the inside?
very strange for the front to touch. must be either cut springs or low as hell
what kinda rims you got on there? and woulf you happen to know the offset?
gee i had 19s and they were all good... and my car wasnt exactly high![]()

new shocks are the main key, even ones that were alright with smaller wheels can show their age after you put wider/bigger rims/tyres on.
I got XHP Barb rims with 235 yokies and it aint lowered at all ay, would the rubbers affect the suspension cos i havent had a good look at them as of yet. im probly just better of gettin a new set up at the front. what do u guys think is the best shocks for the price? and to u r_i_d_a_h nah sorry buddy wouldnt have a clue what the offset is champ.
yer i'd be leaning towards shocks price wise just have a look around they shouldn't be to expensive
