Velcro seems to work ok. Or you could put some MDF under the carpet and drill into that

Dont know how big your sub box is, but I built mine to sit on the back 'shelf' in the boot. There are a few unused holes in the back of the metal plate that support the seat and I used bolts through these, which means I didnt have to drill.

I just secured my 12" Sub and Sub Box on top of the diff hump with ocky straps. There's two holes on either side of the center seat perfect to put the hooks in. It sounds pretty dodgy but it works a treat and doesn't move.

i did the same thing, just went to super cheap and got one of those tie down strap thingies, like the rachet ones they use on trailers, popped out the little rubber bungs in the botom of the boot under the carpet, ran the straps thru and tightned, easy as that and holds like a rock, ive been on some prety hard out windey roads at high speed and the sub hasent buged, id recomend this way over velcro, especialy if the sub is a big one

    cheers and enjoy

One of my mates has screwed his into the back of his VZ. But velcro should do the trick.. thats what I plan on using when I get around to getting a sub.
