Devil red calais ?????

hi im looking for information on my car im not sure what the color is called just wanting to know ive been told it could be DEVIL RED ???
here is my car its a red over silver S1 calais i would like to know how many are out there???? and if any one is looking to sell a 5L version of the same color ????
i have only seen personaly 3 of the same color in victoria all of witch have been V6 badge cars non modified rides
also what surgestions can ppl offer me toward making it a twin turbo ??? im building new engine ground up ...... plz help

look at the paint code on your compliance plate. that number corrisponds to the name of the paint you have. a guy i used to work with twin turboed his 5.7L cost $16K

I've only seen 2 VR or VS Calais' in red (can't remember what either were, as they both look identicle besides the badges.

One was a V8, and one was a V6.


Its pretty rare for Holden to build a luxury model in Red, for any era.

Ive seen one in the northern suburbs that was low as with chrome 19's it looked sick as, sounded tuff as well. every time i saw it the guy was baby-ing it. very well looked after.

If its the same young guy we've seen (was also in the north) it wasn't being babyed, sounded like the motor was on its last legs when i saw it. I thought about offering to buy it, untill i saw how young he was haha

Vr's were the last red calais produced. VK, VL, VN, VP, & VR all had the red option. They stopped in the VS. They are a rare find but they do exist.

any hints on to what all that means ??????

Nah, its done by year. I just did find and that was the first one.

Diablo red was definately avaliable on VS HSVs, so it would be there for 94, 95, 95 and maybe 97.

I`ve seen one like that it was lowered and had the SS kit minus the rear spoiler painted in the grey to match the lower tone, it looked the part.

I've seen one like that aswell. The kit was grey, but the bezzels were red. Looked sweet.

ohhhh **** that is exactaly what im planning to do with mine but i am keeping the standard front bumper so i can custom make fog lights for it i all ready have the sides and front just looking for the rear skirt where abouts have u seen it ???

yeah i like the look of the ss fog lights but i wanna make it diffrent hey like on the original bumper where it has the holes on the front im making them for in there 2 tone lights red leds with blue h4 globes should look sweet NEVER seen them before anywhere ...... unless some one has ??? and also how do u think a VP SS front skirt would look on a VS and do u think it would be hard to fit ??? wanna make her look like one of a kind hey

anything can be done. No i don't think it will look good, but i only like model specific parts when it comes to bumpers/sideskirts. VN on VN - VP on VP etc
