    Awesome numberplate man.

Looks pretty tidy, I wish my first commodore had been that nice.

Thanks for the feedback guys. When you look close, the paint is in fairly bad condition, stone chips, faded on the bonnet. If i wanted the same colour, would i have to pay for a complete respray? or could they spray over the top or something?

a same colour respray would be considerably cheaper than a complete colour change, cause the painter wont paint the inside of the doors, just the outside of the panels. it means less labour time, cause for a full colour change every panal has to be taken off and its alot more work.

i like your rims. were they on the car when you got it? please ditch that dikky canon. yeah, lower it abit your done.everything else is about your own personal taste. change the tail lights if ya want, i like em as is on your car. some people paint the dash, which can look REALLY poxy. i have, but im a spraypainter by trade and its done properaly.

    good luck with the mods.
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

yeah they were on the car. ROH Mantis they are called. I looked them up and are around 2 grand with tyres. I consider this car a bargain as i paid jut under 4 grand for it, with road worthy and 6 months rego. May i ask why everyone says to get rid of the cannon? It makes a nice sound haha. And bits of the dash had already been painted as well as the doors. I am in the process off repainting the inside door handles as when the person before me painted it, they did not use a plastic primer, and the paint is flaking off. Also just ordered red carpet off of ebay.

I am also looking at customising the instrument cluster. I seen the custom red faces that you can put straight in, but i cant find them anymore, does anyone know where i could find them? I am also going to order the blue backlights.

A set of vinyl seat covers will finish off the inside, and then i can concentrate on performance. Also, what does lowering mean i have to do, does that mean i need new springs, or will my local garage be able to do that with my current springs?
    Thanks for the help guys

to lower it you'll need new springs and shortened shocks
cannons are for pirate ships, not commodores :P a proper exhaust/extractors would sound much better anyway

Well i have just finished repainting the interior door handles, and touched up the dash paint. I have also ordered some car carpet from knox auto carpet, off of ebay. Anyone dealt with them before?

    I got red super plush
Also want to get some vinyl seat covers for it, anyone know of a website i could order them from. Got a quote from a company also off of ebay, $700

For that kind of money, you'd be better off finding new seats. It might cost you a bit more but you could look at getting statesman leather seats or maybe some VR/VS SS or Calais seats. I think I saw a full SS interior set for VR for around $700, but that was a little while ago.

nice car, just lose the cannon. They don't belong to a commodore.
