hello all
quick question
would ve ss seats fit in a vr?
thanx
im only assuming, but i would say some modifications would be required, as for width. no idea
If it aint broke, dont fix it.
yeah i thought i might have to mod them a bit
they have a the side airbags in them, will that become a problem?
side air bags in the seats them selves? god, id stay way from that. i plan on using VY-VZ seats, but im not sure if i can get the back seats in, ill have to measure it up. i have put different seat in a car before, but not a commodore, it was just a matter of lining up the seat, drill holes into the seat mount of the floor pan and bolting it on. not to sure bout VRs.

new seats would be good but deffinatly do your homwork as i think the VE are wider and the seats may not fit but look into it some more sounds like a good isea
anyone else know if it can be done?
It can I've seen a VS with them in. It was on the sc forums about a month ago. I'll see if I can find a pic.
ahh thanx heaps man that would be sweet
Theres a thread around on the VT/VX seats going in here:
VT/VX RetroFit Guide for: VN/VP/VR/VS
I would imagine the VE would be a very big job - you would need an engineer check it over too if you wanted to keep the car on the road.
There are some good tips here from an old Street Commodores article - the first question in the article (pdf) http://tinyurl.com/55yes6
any one else b4 i buy them?
Sorry can't find the pics. They did fit though. Not sure how much customising was done.
thats alrite man thanx anyway
anyone else? need to know by tonite
nah man decided not too as i rang holden and they told me it would be quite a bit of screwing around.
so i thought id either wait for some VR/VS hsv seats or id go to a custom interior place.
i have seen them in a vn so they would fit
If Barbie's so popular, why do you have to buy all her friends?
