    Default Abs light on and the red one next to it looks like a clock with quotation mark in it

    What does this mean

    The red symbol your describing sounds like the brake warning light (blown globe). Check to see if all your brake lights and tail lights are working properly.

    get it looked at asap... abs light is never a good sign... is brake spongey ... or does car pull up ok... what are your pads like atm and is your brake fluid low

    well one break light is out so that explains the red light but the abs light could that mean i have low pads

    It could be something as simple as a rock has hit one of the sensors. But would still pay to get it checked out.

    I know a good mechanic in pooraka if you need.

    yea well my car has been going to brenton mechanical i will see if it happens after i get my new rotors and pads on friday

    do a search for "ABS error codes"

    there is a HOWTO here somewhere describing how to do it all, check the fuse too, oh wait actually I think the light stays off if you pull the fuse, but not a good idea :P
