Starr manifold

Just thinking bout getting a different manifold for my VS. Will probably go for torque power but wondering if anyone knows what a 2nd hand Starr performance manifold with 90mm throttle body and induction to suit would go for? If anyone is keen to get it when i go to sell it, let us know. Cheers

Whilst the 90mm tB is a good start the bunch of bananas is actually where the restriction is.
The best part of the Starr package, beside the TB was their air intake box which was pretty scmick back in its day.

Yeah right, they are a bit restrictive in the runners so arent to good if you want to make big horsepower, hense why im selling it. But for someone looking for a little more out of their 5L.. Some people like the idea of getting a bit more with the stock look. If you call JHP, they claim the manifold is good for 500fwhp with big gains cammed 355. The company should be taken to court for making this sort of claim. FALSE ADVERTISING!! but still good for a more mild 5L.

Yeh, they are all fairly pricey though. (come racing manifold is 2750 plus 300ish for the snorkel for it). Enhanced Automotive are either going to make me a custom one, depending how busy they are or ill get a dual plane high rise with 1000cfm tb ontop with a filter that will hopefully fit under the bonnet. that is all 2 grand and they are suppose to make asmuch power as anything under 6000rpm..

I think its Harrop that do a torquer style manifold for the injected Holden V8 and they look great with the 1000cfm TB and a K7N lid style filter, a bit old school muscle look.
