Hey all, I'm new here, so apologies if the 'what suspension should I get?' question has been done to death.
Anyways, bought a VS Calais. Picking it up tomorrow, and want to get the thing lowered. I don't want to spend too much, and I'm lowering it more for looks than for performance/handling.
I don't wanna walk into the suspension place not knowing what I'm talking about, so just wondering if anyone can recommend what kind of a set up I should consider, how much it'll set me back, and any good places they might know of in the south-east Melb area?
Cheers.
Hi mate,
Take the headache out of what you're doing have a squiz here:
KYB / Kings Commodore Lowering Packages!
Your Calais should be IRS, which makes the kit $650, plus about $25 shipping to you. If you're shopping around that price includes KYB's new shortened sports shocks that you'll need for lowering, which alot of places aren't aware KYB now do, and they are a few bucks more expensive if you're comparing prices.
Any questions just let us know.
Regards,
Greg
