ok so im wondering if you can fit an exhaust from say vt-vy on say a vs with and IRS rear end?
anything is possible if you want to modify things, a vs statesman supercharged has a duel exhaust, maybe this is a better way to go at might fit a bit neater
im talking about v8 exhausts they look very similar and there are lots of prefebed systems going cheap for gen's thats why i ask
They fit with a very few slight alterations (not much) My local exhaust shop allways uses them to make systems for VP-VS IRS
I put a VX twin onto a VS with IRS, to say that it requires a little modification is an understatement. They do fit, but the front has to be remade, the hangers moved, and the under axle pipes and rear muffler is in a totally different position. A lot of heating and bending, it won't look pretty. Or some pipes will have to be removed and remade.
awesome thanks for the replys got some good quotes from local exhaust mobs but the question now is twin 2.5" or 3"?
Spend the money on the correct system for the car. It will look all chopped up and crappy if you use the VT-VX system IMO.
is it for a v6 or a v8? either way, twin 3 inch will be massive overkill, or did you mean single 3 inch
someone mentioned a stato exhaust. this wont fit either without modifications. theyre about 4 inches too long i believe. i put a statesman exhaust on mine and i had to cut out a big section between the cats and the mufflers
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport

its a v8 and im not sure which one to get twin 2.5" or single 3" from what i ave read some say twin 2.5 is a bit much with out stroking but single 3" is louder etc
