VS s1, s2 & s3 auto boxes. Are they all the same box? Any changes?

Hey all. Was the VS V6 auto trany exactly the same throughout the 3 series'? I take it they are all interchangable?

yes they all should be the same for the VS's the earlier VR variant has a different number of pins in the connecter and requires you to swap the extension housing over to rectify the problemw ith the speed sender that it causes.

Thats what ive gleamed from readingthese forums anyway.

A search through the Vr/Vs section for the word transmission will give you hundreds of hours of good technical reading.
