g'day, have had problems with my tailshaft hitting up under my floor lately. only when u drop the clutch or stomp it in 1st when rolling. I've just replaced the upper arm bushes as they were shagged. Took it out for a test and still does the same thing, accept handling has improved slightly.
i think the lower arm bushes where pretty shagged too, but i've got them on order. Would these also contribute to the problem i'm having?
Cheers
on cars i've had the lower bushes get shagged before the top ones. guess the diff could be tilting up when you stomp it causing the shaft to hit the floor ? are the bearing on your shaft shagged too ?
yeah i think the bearings in the shaft are pretty shagged too, has slight play and knocking sounds, in the whole tailshaft at all the joints.
get some adjustable upper arms that will fix it
hopefully the cv joint in ya tail shaft arent ****ed, thats like a 300 dollar part
