VS Performance Uprades

Hi Everyone


I'm new to just commodores and i'm chasing as much information as i can
to improve the performance of my VS ute.

I'm a P plater so i am unable to supercharge or turbo my ute which is a bummer.

But i would like to do everything else i can to make my ute a like more fun to drive.

if anyone can help with information, prices, websites, magazines.

It would be a great help

gotta watch that your motor doesnt have more then 200kw when your done, thats the legal limit.

Buy the lastest street commodores dude. They have heaps of power upgrades for 1000 bucks. The trend seems to be cia like a v6 supercharged setup or a mace engineering cia with pod filter. A set of extractors high flow cats and single 2 and a half. high ratio roller rockers (gives you more lift and duration on your factory cam). and maybe a few hundred spent on your trans for a shift kit(auto) or short shifter(manual). then a chip from chiptorque or come racing

I have a VS sedan, and am doing extractors, chip, air-filter next week. I'll let you know how it goes, and whether I think it's worth it in hindsight.

i've already got a chip extractors, but not a very good air filter.
and i couldn't tell you wether your upgrades will increase your performance as i has a dirty big bullbar on my ute atm which is being taken off.

but regardless it has a fair bit of grunt

i got a vs with msd coils 10 mm leads air induction k&n filter(box type)and extractors and 2.5 inch exhauts with high flow cat but i need new brake setup so any tips pass em on. hopefully upgrading to supercharger soon with lsd
