Default VB-VL link pin kit for a VR?

have been reading a few threads, and people have mentioned there was a kit available for VN's that allowed you to use a link pin setup from VB-VL, that connected to the control arm i believe. is there a kit available for VR/VS, or should i just go with the bent heavy duty ones most people have?

the standard VB-VL kit doesn't work on the VR because of the different lower control arms (cast instead of pressed steel) there is a kit that uses 'U' bolts to attach to the control arm instead of the strut but i've never seen one used. but it must be better then connecting to the strut in the standard fashion. the other new ones i've seen use balljoints in the link pin where it attaches to the strut and the sway bar so it pivots and doesn't load up on the steering like the factory ones do.

Whiteline also make a VR conversion, consists of a U bolt that goes around the lower arm with a bracket on top that has 3 holes of adjustment(maybe for different swap bars) and then goes upto swaybar. Ill try get the number for you, but the VR conversion isn't as pretty as the VN type conversion where there is already a hole in the lower arm.

*edit number is KLC18 whiteline product
