my little mystery...

hey,

just wanna find out what this is. in my commie, it's on the drivers side wall in the boot, just behind the fuel cap. looks like two wires are coming off the back of it (can see them in the pic), doesn't appear to be connected to anything. looks kinda like a tyre valve ne ideas? got me stumped.




edit:
okay, I removed it for a better look. it is exactly like a tire valve, which then splits into a tee, off this tee there are 2 1.5mm wide hoses which are cut off and lead nowhere.

I'm really confused, wtf is it??? ne1 else got something like this in there commie? maybe it's some left over from police issue? it's a bt1. or previous owner installed something?

Air shocks on the rear. Pump them up when you carry a load or tow a van.

really? the hoses are pretty thin. so the hoses would run to where the shock absorbers are?

yea id say that they are a manual pump up for air shocks that probebly used to b in your car at one stage.,. they should have run right to the shock absorber
