Question a couple of vs ute questions

just bought my vs ute and wondering some more info, if driving in the wet and no load in back have u found arse end to feel light and well u really need to slow down??
In dry if going down straight road and just turn it say left to right is it common for back end to also feel light as such??

Well if your used to a sedan its proberly just cause it's a ute, hard to explain how light the rear is really over the internet.

How violently did you swerve left and right?

not too hard, like i did have a vs sedan b4, feels alot different, feel like the sedan when u maybe go side to side follows it self but in ute feels like the ute sways to come in line.maybe im not used to it??

Yeah mate u better get used to it lol it tends to happen a lot especially if ur a little heavy on the steering. The spare tyre still under the chassis? That ends up helping a bit to keep em on traction.

it will certainly slide in the wet if ur not careful. if its lowered on good rubber you shouldnt have too much of a problem. Is it an LSD or not?

Yea it is common for utes to feel different cornering than a sedan, but there isnt much of a weight difference between the two. It does help if your car has been lowered and has some decent tyres though, but cornering fast in the wet isnt something I would want to try in any ute.

Ive got to admit i still wouldn't be trying that in a sedan/wagon either lol. My m8 did that in the wet at 140km/h in his sedan and well now he aint got no car now. Total Right Off lol

Yeah utes feel heaps different to sedans, very light in the rear end. Lower it and get some fat tyres for the rear and it should help in the dry.
Check out all your shockies and bushes too and make sure they are in good condition.
