Default VR SS 93000km on ebay. Fake?

Found this, the k's on the odometer arent lined up exactly straight, someone once told me that winding the k's back does this. Is this true?

its hard to tell but the last 3 numbers look like nines so it might be about to tick over to the 93000 ks as stated

Unfortunatly no way to tell if it has been played with or not. Id be sus if he found it hard to produce paperwork. If someone has looked after it that well they would surely be keeping the paperwork with it.

Speedo's do look like that when turning over the big numbers. Cars gotta be clean in all the right places and as said above ^^^ would need to have good quality books.

I've seen VN's with 60,000 on them from time to time, there's plenty of VR's around with under 100,000 still

Bottom right hand photo and top left hand photo both show to have different wheels on it. Ask him which set it still has.

Heard of odo stopping at a certain number then the owner just fixes it when they wanna sell it. example: my mates vp stopped at 145 000km he has no intention of fixin it until he sells it. so when he sells the car it will still say 145 000km and owner will ejac at 145k vp

My VR had 138 000 on it when I got it, not too hard to believe 93 000 but there are plenty of dodgy ****s

My 97 Vs only has 70 000kms on it. There are still some cars out there with low kms. By the look of that one, I would be suprised if the car had done more than 100 000kms, its in very good condition

It says in the description you can ask for the SV6 wheels at an extra cost, if not, you get the SS ones.

Also the SS I bought was the owners weekend toy and garaged all the time. Maybe this SS has had very loving owners and garaged all the time, practically all HSVs are in pretty good condition due to owners not being deros

Dunno if its the same over there but you can do a background check on it because over here in NZ they take down the ks every six months when we go for a WOF. And also itll also tell you if its got outstanding fines or money owing or reported stolen.
Saved me 4k when i was going to buy a mint vn for 1k which had 3k owing on it

Asif. Red is the best colour on VR/S SSs, because its the rarest. I looked for about 2 years, and settled on white in the end, cause there were no red ones avalaible in SA (ended up missing out on a white one aswell)

Now i know why, there all locked up in garages or in the country.

Nah its still stuffed. When I get some spare cash I'll have to get a newie from Sprints. I was thinking about getting one from Just Commodore Spares, but a bit iffy about used parts now.

When the mrs kicks me out I usually crash in the car untill later on in the night then let myself in lol. VR SS seats are comfy.
