CAI upgrade for ecotec

hi guys,
i wanted to upgrade my standard VS V6 CAI to something bigger, preferably an OTR style one. i hear i can purchase a genuine OTR CAI from holden that was fitted to the V8's i believe. can any1 confirm this for me.

The factory and HSV V8 OTR's are actually smaller than the factory super6 OTR which is the only factory one available for a V6 VN-VS.
You only need to buy the OTR snorkel and the adapter that fits your original lower airbox just a little cutting to make it fit.
The snorkel and adapter can be still bought from Holden or check them out on eBay all the time.

as Surfwagon said, yes you can still buy it from holden, the OTR and elbow should set you back around $65 or so, then just cut your lower airbox open a tad more.

Yep,bought mine from holden recently for about $65 for both the bits
