VS Climate control

wat does it mean when the x is displayed??? my climate control also can only do one vent ie it only lets me have either the feet or the head not both??? how i fix this???

The X means there is a problem with the climate control.

Hi I recently had a similar problem in my vs statesman ,the first thing I would replace the vacuum module that operates the vents, it is a large block witha vacuum plug on the back of it and electrical plug at the front base of the heater box ,you need to remove the radio suround panel(climate controls) and the panel behind this also the consul ,it is held in with two screws
it is easy to get out but pain to get the vacuum plug back on , if this doesnt fix it ,it proberly your control unit finaly only climate control models have the vacuum block
