    Default Mag wheel bore shims

    just a quick question.
Where do you get those mag wheel bore shims (they sit on the hub and inside the mag wheel bore so that the mag wheel sits tight on the hub)
As the bore on my mags are larger than the diamater of the hub.

    Any help would be appreciated.
Im in New Zealand by the way.

    Cheers, Jonathan

try your local mag&turbo outlet. the people who supplied the mags really shoulda mentioned it to you and offered to get em for you. it's not safe to drive like that. i have read stories of mags parting company from the hub because of this fault

I bought mine from eBay United States, when I was looking they all sorts of sizes cost me about A$40 when the A$ was good.
Mine were for BMW wheels to VS commodore, I think about 72.5 to 70mm.
The yanks call them hubcentric rings like these I quickly looked up:

Yeah I've got BMW BBS mags and without taking my wheels off to know exactly I used one of the following rings and the ones I have fit the wheel perfect and actually stay with the wheel when they come off:

eBay Motors: HUBCENTRIC HUB CENTRIC RING RINGS RIM WHEEL 70.30 x73mm (item 120346379114 end time Jan-06-09 12:42:38 PST)
