Squealing from front wheel

While driving and (not braking) there is a loud squealing scratching noise from front right wheel and it is getting louder.

Possible you have a pebble or something similar caught in between the brake pad and the disc....or worse your brake pads are completely worn out and down to the metal. Whatever, I'd remove that wheel and look for something loose or adrift.

You were right.....it was a small stone caught in between the pad and disk after i jiggled the disk the stone fell out..... but it has scored the disk so i will have to get it machined. Ta!
