New (2nd hand) ecotec motor... what considerations

Hi, whilst installing a new motor soon, the things I'm thinking about replacing as they are common to fail are

• rear main seal
• water pump - the one on the old motor is brand new so just a new gasket and switch it over??
• heater tap... worth replacing to prevent leaks down the track??

What else would be not too pricey but save hassle later, considering its hard to tell the 'true' age/condition etc of the new motor...

welsh plugs best to have a look at them first but whilst the motor is out i would be doin them expecily the rear ones
