Altezza tail lights let me know wot u think peoples

ive have just baught some chrome altezza tail lights got them really cheap i just wonna know some peoples opinion on them if i should put them on cheers everyone

Wife's car has them, I'm not a fan but they're starting to grow on me a little bit - she should have got the black ones but for $100 who's complaining. I've got the ones which are like the originals but no colour at all in them, prefer those

Yeah personally i'm not a fan of them. IMO a new set of standard tail lights would be alot more classy. Just do whatever you like though, it is your car.

Big thumbs down on altezzas. Use 'em as an ash tray, or **** in em, then throw 'em at the next hot-4-ricer you see at the lights ... Not to harp on, but my mates got a wicked VS he'd done up, spent around 15 grand on mods, but he's gone & undone it all by putting on altezzas. So as far as I'm concerned, his cars like school on sundays - no class.

btw why did u buy them and then ask our opinion, instead of asking then buying lol
go the opposite and tint them dark, they look awesome and menacing not bright and sparkly like well a girls bracelet

They look good mate on some VS commodores! I have them on my Calais and they are a big improvement over the standard items! They also give the tired looking rear end a much needed lift and help to update the look of the car! Agreed they can make some commys look like try hard ricers but if you match them to the car properly they can look great! Have a quick look @ my ride mate and decide for yourself

Personally i did not want to get them @ first but the missus insisted ect and we got them, they do look better then the stockos, but yeah they really have to be suited to the car, otherwise they look like puss!

No sorry theres no way it can look good on certain VR/S its like saying smearing **** on a car looks good on a Calais but not an Executive.
They are horrible they are really eye catching in a bad way, I dont mind the trippy looking clear lights but they just sux, Dont suit commodores at all. I have alot against them also due to the fact all the commodore owners who have altezzas:
Drive VR/S
P platers or just off
Have huge white sunnies (girl sunnies..)
spiky gelled hair
huge lame stickers that mean nothing like THOR and JETPILOT
are wankers on the road

yeh tinting the light look mad but how and where do you get it done sorry guys but im a newbie lol

I've seen it done two ways. You can get them tinted using window tint on them or by very lightly spraying them with matt black paint (kinda stand back a bit and mist it on dry).

Nah, get a can of "night shades" from superchear or autobarn. It's spray-on tint, 30 bucks a can.

That's exactly what my mate says to me. "The missus's fault, cant get rid of em". Reinforces the fact (in my honest opinion) that only chicks, or dudes with female genitles like altezza tail lights.

Actually i like the look of the altezza lights on my car, as i said (imo) they look better than the stockos so i am a girl because i like altezza lights lol? & the can of night shade you have mentioned is crap, i have used it in the past on another set of tail lights that i had and does not give a nice look to the lights! I do appreciate other peoples opinions but telling others they lack balls due to them wanting something they like on their car is a little uncalled for!

At the end of the day you're building your car to suit you, in my taste those tail lights look good on white, grey and silver - seen on dark blue and I didn't like the look of it. No matter what you do, _R_J_K_, there will be people who like it and people who don't. The ones who don't are usually more willing to express their opinion

WORST.....LENSES......EVER.......


Get some of the ones with clear indicator / reverse lense with the rest red. They look nice and clean.
