taking out rear seat

hi im having trouble taking out the rear seat in my vs berlina 97 model, i need to remove the back seat to run the cables to my amp in the boot. if someone could tell me how it would be great. -note- i ave read a post on the forums here on how to do it but it doesnt seem to be working for me.

pull up the rear of the bottom cussion when thats up while pulling up push the front of the cussion towards the rear

As above. When I did it I got in and used my knee to push the bottom cussion while i lifted the back of it (I think). Putting it in is pretty much the same.

slide your hand inbetween backrest and seat and pull that up. then you can see the hooks that the bottom hooks onto. then there is just 2 bolts holding on each backrest
