hey guys i am wandering what exhaust (cat-back only) to get for my VS. i want a deep note and dont know what brand or size to get except i want a twin round tip like the VS HSV's had.
was thinking a lukey exhaust but what size? 2.5 or 2 3/4 inch?
i am going to be doing the VS S/C CAI with high flow lukey filter and a chip soon (is it greenfoam who does them?)
any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks guys
a 2.5 wit hollowed out cat an a single muffler will giv u great note and no loss of power.. get ne brand of exhaust but a LUKEY.. the exhaust bends on them are crap.. have a look at 1 compared to another exhaust and u will see wat i mean..

Don't hollow out the cat or you'd be undoing the efforts of everybody trying to preserve the environment in recent times.
For a catback I'm running the redback 2.5" straight through (no resonator), it sounded pretty deep without a tip on it (was going for sleeper look) but it's deeper with the tip (oval style) - good quality thick steel and mandrel bends
I wanted twin tips but then I saw the attached and had to have it - too bad my towbar's in the way and I'm not putting it on now (towing takes priority), would have sounded and looked heaps different. Came with the exhaust (2.5" so would go straight on)
dont spoze your in SA and wanna sell it?
ok cool thanks guys. i'll prob end up going a 2.5" redback with no resonator.
any idea what DB this yours puts out? or what DB this setup would put out? want it to be loud but not drony when on the freeway so i dont get there with a migraine
