Steering knock noise
When I come out of a roundabout or in and out of a driveway I always hear and feel a knock in the right front. I know this is usually caused by failed sway bar link bushes. As a result I had the originals replaced last year for this reason. They were replaced with the 'S' shaped pin and urathane bushes. Now it's happening again.
What I get cranky about is the original rubber ones lasted 10 years, I replace them with a heavy duty link and unrathane bushes and they're shagged after 1 year.
Is there any chance it could be something other than swaybar links?

could be manny things usually if its the stablizer bar pin's gorn the noise is diffrent and you wont get a "clunk" ull get a tinney tappy noise and it will be there all the time over bumps etc...

Could also be a worn tierod end or a rack end.
check your tie rod ends / ball / uni joints.
on a stiffened+lowered commodore, u generally do a set tie rod ends / ball / uni joints every year of hard driving ( based on my experience anyway ).
although not a front end thing, if u get a loud pop outta the back end on corners / roundabouts look at your diff...
Bloody hell. I had the whole front end rebushed by Pedders only a year ago and it's done about 25,000ks since. They'll never see my business again.
