Have a read around, Error Code #15 and #16 - Coolant temperature sensor high voltage / unstable voltage

There should be enough info around to help you out. There are two temp sensors, one for the gauge in the car and one for the cars computer. They live near the alternator, maybe you have knocked the connector off by mistake?

G'day, after i fitted my supercharger to my VR, i got the same code. Turned out to be that earth wire on RHS of timing case that attaches to the long stud, has two black wires that join into a round terminal that slides over stud and then tightened with nut. Anyway, that wire attaches to the tensioning pulley lower stud. Trace wire back about 7-10 cm into the spaghetti tubing and look for breaks in wire, mine were hard and brittle and not earthing correctly giving me weird ass codes like that, the engine cooling fan would also come on and off intermittantly... Cutting wires back, re-soldering and re-fitting corrected my problem, hope it does the same for u! Good luck

Get it fixed mate. When the voltage is too high it thinks the ECM thinks the water temperature is too low so the vehicle will stay in Open Loop mode running the engine a little rich to heat up then engine and water faster. While in this mode it stops paying attention too all of the other sensors except for the O2 and the TPS sensor...you will be using more fuel also.

Think of it as driving with choke stuck on.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
