i have a vr commodore and i always add and change things in it but the thing that has been getting on my nerves lately is the rubber handbrake cover. i want to put a nice one on it. ive looked in autobahn and supercheap but the only ones ive seen are too long to fit.
does anyone know where i can find a shorter one or maby how i can extend the button one or two centremeters so its long enuf to be used with a slightly longer handle.
You could always go a motor trimmer and get the cover convered in leather. That's what I intend to do with mine shortly.
gonna get a vibrator to replace mine - that's gotta help with picking up!![]()
Just did the wife's, came up pretty good. Bought one for hers and one for mine (not pink) about 6 months ago but never got around to putting it on until today. Got them from eBay, think they were $12 each.
Are you talking the grip or as above the cover section.
If you are talking the grip why not replace it with a statesman/caprice leather one.
Most wreckers have them, usually sell them with the leather bound Auto handle as a matched pair.

im talking about the handle grip that you hold onto but if im gonna replace it i might as well get a nice sporty one the problem is there all a little too long to fit on the bar on my vr unless you lengthen the button but i dunno the easiest way to go at it i thought someone might know what shop i could pick one that would fit at
or does anyone know how the button comes offf does it unscrew and how breakable is it
and how easy is it to put back on incase they used glue or somthing i dunno
