    Default dual mass fly wheel to rigid

    hey, does anyone know wat is required to convert a dual mass flywheel into a solid/rigit one? or is it just swap n go? thanks tom

    swap and go, but you will need the whole kit as the clutch plate will need to have the spring masses now etc.

    yep have to swap for a solid one and get a full clutch kit to suit

    worth it tho.. id rather f**k a $200 plate than a $1500 fly wheel

    I've never done this so really I know nothing but I'd imagine the if the solid flywheel comes with the T5 gearbox and the dual mass flywheel comes with the Getrag gearbox there would be more to it than a straight swap ....also one is hydraulic actuated and the other cable plus splines and pilot bearing diameter may be different.....
