I'm not 100% that this is fully correct, but i simply just do a trip round the block, and do a few gentle stops from about 60km/h to about 10km/h and thats bout it. I usually just try and take it easy on them for the first day, and after that she's apples.

Cruise about 15 kph and brake to a gentle stop. Repeat adding 20 kph each time until you get to average road speed.

Basically, don't just go to 100k and slam on the brakes.

Above is being a bit anal, but all brakes I replaced ( many hundreds over the years ) just apply constant light pressure for awhile ( obviously, down a quiet street or carpark )

I don't think you have to be THAT pedantic, but I do 10 warmup runs.

Each time (of the ten times), I do the following:

    1) speed up to 60
    2) brake gently (like grandma would) down to about 5kph (don't stop)
    3) roll around a u-turn (I like to use a long street with two t-junctions for this)
    4) speed up to 60 going the other way
    5) brake gently down to 5kph again
    6) rinse and repeat

    Then drive normally

lots of ways to skin a cat as you can see but the thing that you see repeating itself over and over again is speed up..and slow down but DO NOT stop.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

    just gentle braking..

dont go out an do 100ks n slam them on all youll do is cook the pads and the metal particles in them with go hard and chop the cr*p outa your rotors and squeal like crazy

That's what I do as well. I think most pads come with instructions for bedding in, but the most important thing as far as I can tell is not to do any hard braking for the first few k's
