gear box?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows if a vn gearbox will fit into a vs, i'm not sure what series it is!

nope.
vr is eletronically controlled by the ecu. and a vn gearbox is controlled by a kickdown cable attached to the throttle body.


you could make it work but that means you need alot more parts from the vn. eg wiring computer. and kickdown cable/bracket.

but it will fit onto the engine without a hassle

why dont, if u were getting a vn gearbox, buy a wrecked manual, so u got the kickdown cable + computer etc with it alredy with the conversion part too?

I've already got the vn gearbox, got given to me but don't have the rest!! Sounds like a bit of stuffing around, might just get a new box! Thanks.
