    Wink pacemaker headers, any good?

heres what i said my other post:

im just coming up with a list of things to do to the VS through out next year

(i hate the whole resoloutions thing - so this is my version)

ivejust quit smokin and acording to the stats here in nz ill end up wit an extra $3-4000 to spend next year (if i dont ill sue the govt for liein to me hahahaha)

(im posting a few differnt threds on this so each idea gets its own replys)

NOW TO THE TOPIC AT HAND!!

my mate (the guy i bought the vs off) was telling me the other day that pacemaker headers are the "top of the line" (so to speak) headers, he claimed that they "will give me sh!tloads more tourque AND make the car sound more like a V8" is there any truth to this? how much tourque will they give me?? (i allready have some after market headers on her)

are there any other typs of headers that will give me more tourque?

Pacemaker are 1 of the best.
When fitting headers to a stock motor, the performance improvement is only around 2 or 3% increase. Other mods will also be required, but good headers + exhaust is a starting point.

    G'day

Is that all? If there is only a slight gain, why bother buying expensive headers?

Darn and I just bought a set of stainless steel extractors made by difilipo exhausts. Supposed to be really good. Due to arrive on Wednesday.
I have always had a noticeable improvement on older cars.

Fitting headers + exhaust to a stock V6 will give you about 3 or 4kw increase, which is roughly about 2 or 3%. A lot of older cars had really bad exhaust manifolds and when headers are fitted, a lot of gain can be experienced.
