sounds like a over excited sales man.

no it will not give you extra power, its more for better flow of the fuel system. std pumps do fine for a stock car
it will be more powerfull than your orignal pump, but if you have no need for it than why bother.............but for 100 bucks deliverd why not...

Mate, I can go back as far as October and still find listings where he's sold this pump for $85. It's not a 2 week sale, and it's not a "special discount" that you'll miss out on any time soon. I'd keep hunting around for a GOOD pump. He doesn't advertise it as a Bosch bump, or any other reputable brand... but doesn't hesitate to shout about it when he is selling a good Bosch pump.

I'd say it's an imported cheapie Don't rush out and buy it. You only ever get what you pay for, that that pump is a cheap pump.

    Also, it won't improve performance

If I'm not mistaken, the fuel pump advertised above flows "28 grams per second". Isn't that roughly 100 litres per hour? A genuine Bosch 044 pump flows up to 300 litres per hour. The pump advertised above outputs 425kpa, which is equal to 61psi. A bosch 044 has an application pressure of 72.5psi.

I think you can see where I'm going with this

Oh, and you'll be hard pressed to find a genuine Bosch 044 brand new for under $100.
