    Default will vx brakes/discs fit on vr

    hi there guys.


    im wondering if a set of vx brakes will fit onto a vr commodore.

    this is what i have
    Front twin piston callipers, pads and disc rotors

    what else will i need to see this fit onto my vr?

    you'll need the hubs and new brake lines. and probably a 1" master cylinder

    so i cant use one of the brake upgrade kit things.

    new lines.

    what sorta money is involved with that?

    and i knew about the bigger master thats relatively easy to get a hold of.

    best to try some of those conversion suppliers and see what it will cost for a partial kit. really not sure what individual parts retail for unfortunatly

    Haydz on a VR you only need the egg rings($40) to put over the hub to sit the rotor in the middle and see a brake shop and they will make you some adaptor brake lines(between $70-$100, depends on type you want)

    ahh ****, your right, me bad i was thinking VN/VP. the above is correct check ebay for the shims to center the rotors

    i have read a few posts about upgrading to a 1" master cylinder. This isn't the case when your car is fitted with ABS. There was a bloody good reason holden fitted 15/16th master cylinders to ABS fitted Commodores.
    If it doesn't have ABS then go for it
