    Default The Old Fella John

Gday fellas. You blokes are probably gettin sick of me asking questions eh.But gees youve helped me out heaps.Long overdue repairs. That im sorting out now.Ill list everything ive been assisted with shortly.Today i was at Supercheap gettin a few things, when i got talking to and old fella by the name of John.Hes around mid 70s.Top bloke.I wish i was born in that era, lol.Johns got an issue with his central locking on his VT.He reckons all doors lock while either driving or with motor turned off parked in his driveway. Its done it 4 times in the last month. Why do you reckon its doin that? Thanks from John and meself.

My vp does it as a security measure lol. Someone here said it was maybe an aftermarket security system fitted where it locks the doors when accessories is turned on and the doors will unlock incase of a flip over. I liked it but misses hated it lol.

I'd first off check the keyhead - if its starting to fall apart it may be triggering the lock button when normally it wouldn't. I find if I'm wearing tight jeans and bend over sometimes my garage door will open...or maybe the front gates...bloody tight jeans with a bit of other junk in the pocket pressing on the unlock buttons!! Another thing to look for is one door lock thats a bit slow in closing/opening....this can freeze and throw the system out if it suddenly un-freezes.
Your mate probably has a second key - I'd tell him to try using it for a week or two and see if the problem re-occurs.

Forget the jeans - remember the trousers of the 60's - and your girlfriend would whisper something suggestive in your ear whilst you were sitting at a restaurant (chinese of course) and this would cause a reaction which prevented you from standing up (which you were already).
